センスが良くて、拘りのある人はいったいどんなタックルを使用しているのだろう？
第一回目はCAPTAINS HELM TOKYO 代表 大久保 聡志さんです。
釣りの魅力に憑りつかれ、そして新たな発信をしていく者がいる。

ファッション人にして、サーフィンやキャンプなど多くの外遊びを経て、バスフィッシングに辿り着いた現在。
彼のこだわりのタックル、そして彼が今見ている先を教えてもらった。

Now that he is a fashion person, he has reached bass fishing after a lot of outdoor activities such as surfing and camping.
He told me about his particular tackle and what he is looking at right now.
バスフィッシングに最初に触れたのは9歳の時でした。
そこからサーフィンやキャンプなど外遊びはしていたのですが、釣りには触れていなかったんです。。
きっかけは、2年半前。
前からキャンプに行っていたのですが、キャンプをしていく中で行って最後夜は飲んでというルーティーンに少し飽きてきたこと。
キャンプ先で何かやれることはないかな？と考えているうちに、釣りの出来る場所も近いんだし、またやってみようというのがきっかけでした。
ただこれが釣れない、釣れない…
性格上負けん気が強いので、そこからどうやったら釣れるかということを掘って掘って掘りまくったんです。
そして始めて数か月、その時が来たんです！
強烈なバイトと共に上がってきたのは47cmのプリスポーン時期のブラックバス。
体中のアドレナリンが放出して、ひざが震えたんです…
もうそこからはこんな面白いことない！！ということで、一気にのめり込んでいきました。
■ MY TACKLES
僕のタックルは全て黒で統一しています。
よくリールやロッドの一部に差し色だったり、装飾が施されていたりすると思うんですが、僕らはファッションに関わる人間なので、色味のバランスというのをとても気にします。
例えば同じ色の系統でカラーバランスが取れていればいいですが、どれだけ気に入ってても性能が良くても、色がかち合っているとどうも使っていて気持ちが上がらない。
そこで僕は今アブ ガルシアさんのアンバサダーもしていますが、やはり釣りの世界の発想だけではなく、僕らファッションに携わる者が大事にするカラーバランスというものに、とても気を使っています。
干渉し合わないものを考え、トータルのバランスを配慮した時、そこに全て黒で統一するという答えを導き出したんです。
なので、リールもロッドも黒で統一。
自身もデザインにアドバイスをさせていただいたヴェルサートというロッドを今はメインで使っています。
完全なるプロモデルというよりは、あらゆるシーンでカバーをしてくれるような幅広いユーザビリティを確保したロッドです。
これ一本あれば大概のシーンをカバー出来る、初心者から上級者まで納得のいく仕様になっています。
これを更に自分が思うベストセッティングにした、CAPTAINS HELMの別注モデルも今後登場します。
僕の考える細かなこだわり、そして気持ちの良い使い心地を体感してもらえたらなって思いますね。

When I thought about things that wouldn’t interfere with each other and considered the total balance, I came up with the answer that all black would be used.

I am currently using a rod called Versart, which I also advised on the design.
Rather than a complete professional model, it is a rod that ensures a wide range of usability that covers every scene.

僕にとってこいつは本当にトリックスターです。
こいつの一番釣れるのは止まった時。
止めた時にペラが一回転するんですが、その動きがバスにはたまらないです。

■GOOD KARMA
東京からではなく、今は地方からも発信した方がいい時代だと思うんです。
「GOOD KARMA」というイベントを始めて、地方のアウトドアショップとタッグを組んで発信したり、東京だけが盛り上がるのではなく、日本各地で発信し、活性化させていきたいんです。
過去に茨城、和歌山でイベントを開催しました。
今年のGWに千葉での開催予定もしていたんですが、残念ながらコロナの影響で中止になったりもありました。
しかし、これを続けていくことで多くの人たちがアウトドアに興味を持って、そしてみんなが楽しく遊べると思うんです。
暗い世の中ですが、やっぱり楽しいこと、面白いことを考えていくことが大切だし、人の原動力になると思ってますよ！
